Hug Media Concept is excited to announce that Kelvin Okoroji and Nnamdi Daniels have joined our company as executive team members. Their inclusion represents a major milestone in our quest to create bold films in African cinema

Kelvin (Childs) Okoroji is a journalist, media personality, and film critic. In 2019, he contributed to the weekly recap of Tyler Perry’s show “The Oval” on BETtv and created his own talk show, “Changing The Narrative,” which aired for three years.

In 2021, Kelvin joined Mighty Media Plus Network (QED.ng) as an entertainment journalist and editor, eventually becoming the head of the entertainment desk. He is now the Marketing and Communications Manager at Taeps Animation Studios, known for their AFRIFF-nominated short film “Èwà” and their upcoming 3D feature film “Adétóún and the Heart of Time.” Kelvin has interviewed numerous Hollywood and Nollywood celebrities, including Jimmy Jean-Louis, Taja V Simpson, Joke Silva, and Kunle Afolayan.

Nnamdi Daniels is an experienced media personality with a diverse portfolio in the Nigerian film industry. He has contributed to various acclaimed productions, including Frontier Security, Beyond Your Sight, The Good Husband, The Businessmen, and Monster In-Law. His work extends across genres, from romantic dramas like Hate at First Meet and A New Kind of Love to series such as The New Girl and Taxman’s Lot. Nnamdi has also been involved in notable radio dramas like Story Story and Nebor My Nebor for BBC Radio, showcasing his versatility and creativity across different media.

When Godwin came to me, he said, ‘Kelvin, they say art is the greatest form of rebellion. But how can we truly rebel if we limit our creativity to what we believe will be commercially successful?’ Those words were all it took to convince me,’ said  Kelvin.
